ABOUT US
The Maynard Foundation is the non-profit arm of the Maynard Collection. Its sole purpose of existence is to provide humanitarian aid to people within our immediate worlds. It saddens me to say 20% of the UK population is living in poverty, over half of these are working age adults and disappointedly 1 in 4 children are living in these conditions. What makes it worst is these are our neighbours, colleagues and in many cases people who serve us in shops or through another business capacity. We are or should be our brothers keeper, especially when we have the ability to help, even if just a little.
What have we done so far?

The outbreak of Covid-19 for most of us was a terrible time, people lost their jobs, their sense of hope and tragically in many cases their lives. The number of mental health cases sky rocketed as people struggled to deal with the level of anxiety that existed. Through a simple tweet we asked who needs help? we were met with an overwhelming response from people of all differing backgrounds, including professionals who were working within the National Health Service. Our response was to pay for unto 6 sessions of counselling with a counsellor of their choice, with the aim of helping the individuals re-grip their hope and lives.

Our second campaign focused on single mums, those struggling to pay their bills or provide food for their children. We were able to provide support for 10 families through the generous giving of donators.

Our third campaign was a little more broad with a particular focus on those with high debts or bills to pay, the response was far more than we could fund. Whilst we supported financially we also recognised the need for financial education, we therefore expanded our services to include supporting services which enables the individual to prevent repeating any financial mistakes or provide planning advice for a better financial future.
Our motto is simple, the more we get, the more we can give
